ESCOBEDO STUDIOS is spearheaded by lead artist Gabriel Escobedo, a Mexican-American multi-media artist, organizer, and promoter. Raised in North County San Diego and based in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2013, Escobedo initially found creative passion through music and making supportive visual material for release.

After being featured in the San Francisco State Student Gallery, Escobedo would continue to study art techniques and theory. His work would go on to be featured in Oakland's International Peace and Arts Center, ran by the late artist and gallery owner Stevens Jay Carter.

Escobedo's work has been featured in various art shows throughout the Bay Area celebrating local art and volunteers time to local establishments in support of the Bay Area art scene.

His work largely concerns the power of color, the influence of composition, and the elements making up the mysterious universe. In both his dream-like landscapes and bold abstract pieces, Escobedo's work explores the effect an image can hold and the meanings one can make from color, form and placement.

Outer space and nature continue being core motifs in Escobedo's work. Landscapes often feature a contrast between the ever-shifting cosmos and the perceived static existence of terrain. His abstract pieces work to convey the emotional reaction to the features of nature and contemplation of the greater Universe, both beautiful and mysterious.
